Title: Product/Project Engineer

SUMMARY

WilMarc is a rapidly growing medical device company which is looking for an experienced Product/Project Engineer. This role will function as a member of the Research and Development team identifying and developing new products and product platforms. This role will be performance based with annual goals and objectives tied to specific project commitments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The ideal candidate shall have strong project management skills, a proven record of product development successes and experience within a regulated environment. The candidate shall possess leadership skills to work in a very collaborative environment and the ability to lead a project team to completion within defined project deliverables.

  • Responsible for project success and delivering on schedule, on budget and within defined quality guidelines.
  • Capable of leading multiple projects at the same time with the ability to self-prioritize tasks and objectives based on defined project timelines.
  • Provide technical solutions and guidance to defined problems with the ability to lead the manufacturing transfer and ramp up.
  • Shall lead project teams from concept development through manufacturing transfer, resulting in manufacturing ramp up and release.
  • Shall incorporate a six-sigma approach incorporating various risk management tools including but not limited to Applications, Design and Process failure modes effects analyses.
  • Perform design analyses utilizing hand calculations as well as finite element analysis tools to predict early failures and mitigate early project risks.
  • Shall be capable off defining and executing DOE studies to determine design or process variables.
  • Shall be capable of defining verification protocols and associated test methods to assure product design robustness.
  • Shall be capable of defining product and process validation protocols to define edge of failure and edge of process parameters while ensuring process capability.
  • Writes reports and technical presentations to support the design control and design review processes.
  • Capable of presenting project updates to the management team on a regular basis.
  • May function in an operations function assuring manufacturing equipment is specified, designed and built properly to achieve desired product yields.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering required.
  • Master of Science in Engineering preferred.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2 years of Medical Device product development experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to Project Management is required.

REQUIRED POSITION COMPETENCIES

  • SolidWorks 3D/2D modeling experience.
  • Understanding of the Design and Development process.
  • Understanding of external standards as they apply to the project/s at hand.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 is preferred.

SUMMARY

WilMarc is a rapidly growing medical device company which is seeking a highly-motivated Quality Control Technician to work in a fast-paced environment that fosters teamwork, production of high quality products, risk-based decision-making while following ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 regulations. We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this position, you will perform measurements for first article, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Work on the assembly line may be initially required.  Excellent communication, keen attention to detail and confidence in decision making skills are a must. The Quality Control Technician will be able to communicate effectively at all levels within Quality as well as cross functionally with departments such as R&D, Regulatory, Operations & Manufacturing.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Knowledge of the proper use of  digital calipers and performing measurements.
  • Ability to perform repeated measurements quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to read product drawings and specifications.
  • Approve in-process requirements by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments as needed.

  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor/Lead Technician.

SUMMARY

WilMarc is a rapidly growing medical device company which is seeking a Molding Technician highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment that fosters teamwork, change, risk-based decision-making and flexibility.  The Molding Technician will support all manufacturing development activities and associated manufacturing processes and will actively participate in continuous improvement and support activities of existing products. The Molding Technician will work on assigned work in an organized manner and maintain a productive work environment in order to meet established production schedules.  The Molding Technician will be able to communicate effectively at all levels within manufacturing, as well as cross functionally with departments such as R&D, Regulatory, Operations & Manufacturing, and Marketing. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Set up the molding machine per daily schedule
  • Load process into the machine, start up and shut down
  • Remove and install molds
  • Operate crane to replace molds
  • Assist with mold maintenance. Inspect molds for damage or excessive wear.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting when molding problems occur.
  • Ensures that plant maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment through implementation and support of all aspects of 5S. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous molding experience and/or training preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience working with machines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply and carry out instructions in written, oral and diagram form.
