Phthalates found in PVC can harm a child’s health and development by interfering with natural hormone functions. Studies on phthalates show links to disruption of the endocrine system, testicular cancer, liver problems, and an early onset of puberty in girls. Which, consequently, is a risk factor for breast cancer later in life[1]. Because of this, our pediatric anesthesia products are manufactured without phthalates.
